1. Who we are

Trackline Equipment LLC (“Trackline”, “we”, “us”) buys used heavy equipment directly from owners. We are located at 180 Talmadge Rd, Unit 366, Edison, NJ 08817. You can reach us at [email protected] or (908) 645-0934.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need in order to evaluate equipment and communicate with the people selling it:

Contact details you give us or that appear in business listings: name, business name, mobile or business phone number, email address.
Equipment details you choose to send us: make, model, year, serial or PIN, hours or mileage, condition, location, and whether there is money owed on the machine.
Photographs and video you send us of equipment.
Message and call records: the content and timestamps of text messages and calls between you and us, which we keep as the record of the conversation.

We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account details, or government identification numbers through this website or by text message.

3. How we use it

To respond to you and continue a conversation you have started with us.
To evaluate equipment you are offering and to make or discuss an offer.
To keep records of our dealings with you, including records we are required to keep in order to honour opt-out requests.

4. Text messaging, and what we do not do with your number

If you give us your mobile number, or reply to a text from us, we may text you about equipment you own or are selling. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties. We do not sell or rent your mobile phone number, and mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share information with service providers only to the extent needed to deliver our own messages to you — for example our messaging carrier — and those providers may not use it for any other purpose.

To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message from us. We honour that immediately and permanently, and you will not receive a further marketing text from us at that number. Opting out of texts does not remove records we already hold, and we keep a record of your opt-out precisely so that we do not contact you again.

5. Who else sees your information

Service providers who help us operate: our messaging carrier, our hosting and storage providers. They may handle your information only to provide that service to us.
Professional advisers such as lawyers or accountants, where needed.
Where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. How long we keep it

We keep conversation records and equipment details for as long as we have a business reason to, and then for as long as we are required to keep them. Opt-out records we keep indefinitely, because deleting them would risk contacting you again.

7. Security

We hold your information on access-controlled systems and limit who can see it to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to:

tell you what information we hold about you,
correct it if it is wrong,
delete it, subject to records we must keep,
stop texting you, at any time, by replying STOP.

Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state law.

9. Children

This site and our services are for businesses and for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be posted on this page.
